Credit Coop is fixing crypto credit's capital efficiency problem.

Their blockchain-enabled lending platform helps cryptonative businesses like Rain, Index Coop, and D8X access the credit they need to grow, and smart contracts automate secure and transparent lending.

THE VISION

Along with a new brand identity, Credit Coop wanted to design and develop the frontend of their lending platform to better reflect their offerings and establish an intuitive flow for both borrowers and lenders.

Approach

Rebranding and defining user flows

We went above and beyond during creative explorations, running live workshops with Credit Coop stakeholders to define a detailed brand identity that could be harnessed for scalability.

This included logo iterations and comprehensive brand guidelines on the use of spacing, color gradients, and formatting rules for external applications.

With a full understanding of their new branding, we shifted into the frontend designs for their web3 platform. Understanding their existing flows was paramount, and we worked closely with their team to ensure we identified key pain points. We quickly designed solutions using clear and functional wireframes and prototypes, demonstrating our strong understanding of UX.

Approach

Frontend design and landing page

Credit Coop was excited to see the new branding come to life in crisp and beautiful interface designs, which needed minimal iterations thanks to the many stages of work we had done.

They also loved the design for the landing page, which sold their platform features with a bold and striking design and didn’t need any revisions. We wrapped up the design phase early and began development in parallel.

Approach

Pixel-perfect platform build

We built the new frontend from scratch using React, executing on the designs so every piece was as planned. It was a theatrical and challenging UI, with extensive gradients, light effects, transitions, and more.

We integrated Blocknative as the wallet provider and built features for borrowing and lending, including line of credit, operations, and portfolio features.

The most challenging part of the build was working with the initial version of Credit Coop’s smart contracts while also building for their V2 contracts that were actively in development. We had to adapt and create some wrappers to reuse pieces of our frontend code, especially as it tied to the data layer. We took care that any changes we made didn’t break the previous version of the website and smart contracts.

Approach

Multi-network and mobile responsive

We worked fast to ensure the platform was ready for Credit Coop’s launch, working with them to adapt the build to suit user needs.

This included making sure the dapp would work on multiple chains with Blocknative, that changes in crypto wallet extensions and network connection status would update seamlessly in the UI, and that the platform was mobile-friendly. We maintained the initial design throughout and produced a beautiful platform experience and landing page.

Offering the full package of the design and build for Credit Coop's top-tier frontend meant we were able to streamline the process and quickly deliver their rebuild.

We really enjoyed working with them and were proud to play a key role in their new brand identity and future growth. As web3 users and builders, we love their mission to help crypto businesses scale and grow, and that it’s achieved through secure and programmatic onchain lending.
