Isomers takes the scientific approach to cutting-edge skincare.

Isomers Skincare is an independent, family-founded skincare company that focuses on creating effective, science-based skincare solutions. Since the creation of their first formula in 1988, they have focused on producing anti-aging solutions that are clinically proven and effective. 

THE VISION
Isomers was experiencing a period of high growth and wanted to give their Shopify storefront a fresh look and feel to match their updating packaging and branding. As a large part of their ethos centers around science and education, they were interested in enhancing their product and ingredient content to better inform their customers and drive conversions. 

WHY LAZER?
Their unique approach to skincare has taken them far, but we were the ideal partner to help them better serve their existing customers and reach new demographics. With our design and branding expertise, our deep understanding of building on Shopify, and our experience with skincare storefronts, we quickly built the perfect website to educate and engage their customers.

Approach

Scientific yet approachable branding and navigation

We worked with the Isomers team to translate the look and feel of their physical packaging of their digital branding.

Their branding emphasizes their scientific approach and premium products, while still making skincare approachable to any customer. We helped them build out their informational architecture so users could navigate the new site with ease, searching by product category, collection, skin concerns, or ingredients. We also designed their content and mobile experience to suit their specific conversion goals.

Approach

Designing pages for skincare science and education

The biggest feedback that Isomers had received from their customers was that they wanted to learn more about skincare science and how each product is made in their lab.

We helped design and build their product details pages (PDPs) to include digestible information like product ingredients, skin type and concerns, routine, clinical studies, and more. Users can read more about key ingredients in the ingredients glossary, increasing their understanding of the formula and product.

Approach

Helping customers create their own skincare routine

Isomers wanted to create a skincare quiz for customers who want help building their own skincare routine, contributing to both education and conversions.

We researched skincare quizzes, questions, and tools and made recommendations on how to implement their ideal quiz. We used Quiz Kit to build the quiz functionality so that with just a few simple questions, the user gets product recommendations for a multi-step skincare routine.

Approach

Providing an easy-to-use and future-proof website

We designed and built a component library so that the Isomers team could reuse and edit sections to build site content in Shopify.

We also leveraged Shopify’s meta objects system so they could create a reuse content on multiple products, allowing them to populate their PDPs more quickly. We ran workshops with their team to ensure they could build their own pages without a technical background, which they did with the help of our documentation and hand-on training. 

Our priority was not only building the right storefront for Isomers, but empowering with a flexible and easy-to-use platform that will last.

The Isomers team loved the new look and feel of the website, which they felt perfectly represented their brand. By ensuring they could work with the platform we developed, we enabled them to build more content pages themselves and guaranteed they will be able to use this flexible theme for many iterations to come..
